3 Reasons to Use RigUp’s Messaging Feature

RigUp is driven to be the one-stop shop for the oil and gas industry. Whether you’re a skilled professional looking for work or you’re looking to hire, we have a passion to deliver quality tools and resources for our users. Doing so requires us to be constantly re-evaluating, re-inventing, and innovating our platform, which leads us to our latest development: the in-app messaging feature.

RigUp - On-Demand NetworkOur platform is designed to allow E&Ps and OFS companies to purchase labor and other various oilfield services transparently and confidently. The RigUp team believed that developing an in-app messaging feature was an important part of accomplishing this goal. Using in-app messaging, users can now communicate more effectively to expedite the oilfield services sourcing process, manage labor, and network with industry workers. Here are three ways users can benefit from using the messaging feature in the RigUp app:

  1. Check for crew & equipment availability and pricing

RigUp’s messaging feature allows users to send a quick message to check for crew and equipment availability and price quotes. Rather than making phone calls, calling out on social media platforms, or sending emails, RigUp users can use the messaging feature to communicate for faster, more effective workflow.

  1. Coordinate onboarding

If users are already utilizing our contractor management features, we’ve integrated in-app messaging to streamline onboarding even further. The messaging function easily enables users to coordinate training and make sure everything is in place for the first day on location to the last day of the project.

  1. Network

Utilizing the messaging function allows users to keep in touch with past clients and employees to network in industry. By keeping in contact with previous employers and contractors using the app, users are able to stay in the loop with industry professionals and find new projects within the RigUp system.

Customer Success is our Priority

With over $150 million per month in transaction volume on RigUp, our team is constantly helping customers with on-boarding, training, and new features. We care about our users’ experience, and prioritize their needs.

Whether you prefer to speak to someone via phone, email, or chat we’re always here to help. Have a question? In-app chat allows customers to speak with one of our success representatives in real time. We aim to respond in under two minutes – but in reality, our report shows we are a little quicker than that!

But that doesn’t even take into account the number of phone conversations. Our small ops team is on the phones constantly, making sure that every one of the 1,000+ calls that we have in a week are helpful and customer focused. Our goal is to make thousands of our users happy every single day.

But don’t just take our word for it. Here’s a sampling of what our users – both E&Ps and service companies – have said about our dedication to their success.
